In Loving Memory of Andy “The Breadman” Egressy

Sunday, August 10, 2025
Memorial begins at 12:00 noon
11599 Genesee Road, East Concord, NY 14055

We are holding a memorial gathering to honor my husband Andy, just as he wished—simple, heartfelt, and at home, surrounded by the people he loved most. He did not want anything formal. He wanted warmth, familiar faces, and the comfort of being in the place he cherished. I am doing everything I can to honor that.

Thanks to the generosity of Mark and Eva, large tents, tables, and chairs will be set up to provide shelter and create a welcoming space. Rain or shine, the gathering will take place. We are also grateful to the Freemasons for their help in making this possible.

The memorial service will begin promptly at 12:00 noon, followed by a Navy salute in Andy’s honor. After that, we will move into a celebration of life—a time for stories, laughter, and shared memories of the remarkable man Andy was.

Please plan to arrive a bit early to allow time for parking and settling in.
Parking is limited at our home, but you may also park:

  • At 11589 Genesee Road (next door)
  • At 11450 Genesee Road (across the street)
Note: If the ground is wet, parking on the grass may not be possible.
Our driveway will be reserved for elderly or handicapped guests who need closer access.

My thoughtful nephew will be helping with transportation by golf cart from parked vehicles for anyone who needs assistance.

If you are able, you are welcome to bring a dish to share. This is completely optional. What matters most is your presence.

If you would like to share a few words, a memory, or a story during the celebration, we would be honored. Your voice is part of this day.

To help preserve our septic system, we will provide a flushable portable restroom with a sink. We ask that guests please use this facility throughout the day.

We do not know exactly how many people will attend, so please bear with us as we do our best. There may be some small bumps, but I know Andy will be smiling down on us—surrounded by love, laughter, and the beautiful community of friends and family he held dear.

Thank you for being part of this day.
Your kindness, support, and love mean more than words can express.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Diane and Family
